Develop analytical, general business management and problem-solving skills with MPA – CDU

It is an advanced degree program that is typically available to students who have graduated with a bachelor’s degree.

During the program, students learn advanced accounting principles so they can work as professional accountants or financial professionals upon graduation.

MPA focuses on contemporary knowledge and skills required for practice as a public or chartered accountant; effective management; accountability and control; and effective decision-making for financial success.

Studies in the Master of Accounting (Professional Practice) will provide the technical and conceptual skills required to become a competent accountant, and will develop students’ abilities to analyze, criticize and synthesize various accounting and related principles, methods and techniques.

The skills and knowledge gained from this course will prepare students to be effective managers or financial analysts. Graduates find employment as accountants or financial analysts, and may increase promotional opportunities in their existing occupations.

The course also provides the opportunity for professional practice experience and/or research and training in business communications.
