English Language Requirement

Overall IELTS score of 6 with no individual band score less than 5.5 OR Overall PTE score of 50 with no subscore less than 50 OR equivalent.

Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission candidates would normally be required to possess and an undergraduate degree from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent. Students who have completed a Bachelor Degree (AQF Level 7) in Information and Communication Technology may be eligible to apply for 48 units of block credit. The 48 units (four courses) credited will be determined by the courses students have completed and will be assessed on a case by case basis.

The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Industry is one of the fastest growing and changing fields.

The Master of Information and Communications Technology will boost your career prospects by equipping you with high-level professional skills. You will develop your understanding of data analytics, data science engineering, data and process management, domain knowledge and research methods. You will understand the ethical implications with respect to privacy and security in the analysis and use of data, how the effective management and use of data has and will continue to transform organizations through digital innovation. You will apply research methods and skills to develop innovative solutions to business problems.

Career opportunities

Graduates will be prepared to undertake careers in the ICT field including business analyst, data scientist, database administrator, and systems administrator.
