1. Health Care and Social Assistance
With Australia’s growing population, Health Care and Social Assistance has become one of the booming sectors of Australia. There is also an expected growth of about 16.1 percent in the next 5 years. The industry revolves around Ambulatory Health Care Services, Nursing and Residential Care Facilities and Social Assistance.
2. Retail Trade
In terms of employability, Retail Trade ranks to be second in Australia’s top 10 industries. Australia has employed over 1.2 million people in the sector and is still expecting an employment growth of 3.7 percent in five years. The industry revolves around Food Retailing including Supermarkets, Motor Vehicle, Parts, and Fuel Retailing along with other Store-based Retailing.
3. Construction
One of the largest employing industries, the construction industry employs over 1 million Australians. The industry includes construction services, residential and non-residential building construction.

Rising government funding, growth in international student enrolments and rising tuition fees have contributed to the division’s expansion over the period.
