Professional recognition

Completion of the degree allows graduates to apply for membership of CPA Australia and The Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).

As a graduate, you may land roles in large multinational companies as financial accountants, management accountants, auditors, and managers; others run their own businesses or work in other areas of business management.

Course structure

The course requires completion of common, core and general elective units. Successful completion of the degree will satisfy the entry requirements of the professional accounting bodies in Australia. Elective units allow the student to tailor the degree to their particular career aspirations.

A candidate must successfully complete units totaling 240 credit points (cp) as detailed below. All units are valued at 10 credit points unless indicated.
