Program Outline

The Bachelor of Information Technology is an innovative Program designed with input from major IT industry partners. Upon completion of the Program, you will have achieved industry-recognised qualifications; have the foundation to become a leader in the IT field; be able to understand the impact of technological change; be able to appreciate not only current usage of IT in business and industry environments but also trends in computing; and be able to analyse, design and implement up-to-date computer-based systems including those related to internet technology, multimedia and web-based applications. As a graduate of this Program, you will have been provided with a balance between specific knowledge of particular development tools (languages, operating systems, development environments) and general lifelong learning skills, which will ensure that you are able to remain at the forefront of this vibrant and rapidly developing sector.
